just wednesday

just wednesday

okay so it is wednesday - is it me? or does everyone hate wednesdays? that MIDDLE day in the week - few days away from monday yet still far enough from friday that it makes the day DRAG....whew. not that i have anything major super exciting going on anyway...here at work....supposed to be working....but i am blogging....because i am trying to make a commitment....i don't seem to be very good at those lately unless it involves my 8 month old and his wants and needs....then i am right there....praying i am being the best MOMMY possible.

yesterday after work we walked down to the pool to "check things out" - Shnookums was very interested in the people bouncing around and jumping in the pool, he thought they were quite funny. even though he can not walk yet - he tries to get away from me.....no idea where he thinks he is going....ha. Shnookums was also FLIRTING with my neighbors 20 something year old daughter "J" (hey she is def a hottie - can't blame him, and she is a pharmacist to boot...hum) - I did tell him MOMMY would be picking out his girlfriends/wife etc....oh yea...you know it!

after the pool we walked home and had some chicken and rice with sweet potatoes and corn and a nice peach cobbler on the side. (baby food peoples - come on- and you thought i was actually cooking....ha ha ha) actually thank God for Gerber - because that is my kind of cooking.....yea..OKAY..sad..I KNOW.....geeeeez (get over it already) ;o) then we bathed and chilled out watching some cheesy Bachelor show and Dancing with The Stars (Shnookums loves to watch the pretty girls dance and listen to the music) - then we were off to bed. although Shnookums woke up at 3am again with this horrible cough he just recently got (thank you daycare, what would we do without you, i say this sarcastically) so he finally went back to sleep around 4ish and i got a little more snooze until time to get up and start the day over....and that is when i realized it is JUST wednesday - geeeeesh.

so.......not much else to say for now - but stay tuned- I am sure things will get more exciting....i might actually get to shave my legs tonight!!! ;o) (ha ha ha)
